They still have it. Theft is defined as depriving the owner of property (in most places).

I’m embarrassed to admit it, but valve dropping support for windows 7 was what made me switch to linux. Until the computer stops working for the average user, they won’t change.
GoodLuckToFriends@lemmy.todayto Games@lemmy.world•6* months away now. If you're on 10, do you plan to upgrade? Make the jump to Linux?English3·15 days agoNoooooo. There was an article in the last 6 months about someone connecting a windows xp to the internet just to see what happened, and within 10 minutes it had been scanned and infected. They repeated the experiment several times.
It’s child’s play (like, literally script kiddie level) to run automated scans and if a vulnerability, like a really old operating system, is found to then attack it.

The game must be Superman 64, known for its trendsetting skyfall imagery and fast gameplay.

Some friends had it and we spent an entire week blasting through the game. It had a lot of potential for fun, like when I meleed the enemy in the face, then my friend with a sniper rifle slowed time, aimed between my character’s arms for the recoiling head of the enemy and got the headshot.
GoodLuckToFriends@lemmy.todayto Games@lemmy.world•Which co-op first person shooters would you recommend?English2·1 month agoThe problem with the first (I haven’t played the second), was that it felt like a story game where you play through the story in one go, when it ultimately turned out to be an instance grinding game to get gear to progress.
I went in expecting dark souls with guns, but got the weird love child of world of warcraft and dark souls with a reset button to progress.
Best simulator ever. And then you find the mods.
