Every 100 years, the mysterious castle of Sudokuvania appears in the countryside. Legend has it that it contains the Secret of Sudoku. Gathering the last few given digits in the area, you solemnly approach the boxy fortress, determined to discover the secret and share it with your favorite people.
I think this for people on a Sudoku level or 3 beyond me.
The sight of a blank grid with a multitude of arcane extra rules across it is something I just can’t sink my teeth into.
Also, is one meant to/does one have to put numbers into areas still covered by the fog?
Yes, you do have to venture into the fog a bit sometimes. Not too far, if you click around to other grids you may uncover spoilers, but you can always interact with the grid you’re currently on. Whenever you know you can put a digit somewhere, put that digit there, fog or not.
OK, once you get thermometers and sums not being able to see the whole object makes me think it kinda defeats the point. But maybe that’s just me being a filthy Sudoko casual.
I’ll press on and see if it can click. Did get the second boss done in the end.
I know the guy who made this! He distributed it among acquaintances and I lost 6 hours of my life going “this is too much, but I can’t stop”
This looks cool, but even on my desktop the text for the rules is way too small.
You should be able to zoom in/out by scrolling up/down
Nope, at least not on Firefox or edge.
Edit: You have to switch on large puzzle UI in experimental settings.
Ahh, I shall do that then and see if I can get further than the courtyard.
